I’m reading Around the World in 80 days with my daughter, and as I’m looking back over things I’ve done recently I realize that I’ve been doing a lot of web traveling that I haven’t shared.
First up: It’s the third Tuesday of the month and that means it’s my time to head to Canada – to Scrapbook & Cards today. I gave some tips about how to use digital overlays when making a mini album. In other Scrapbook & Cards Today news, the Summer issue will be out on June 25th – I can’t wait to see that issue!
Yesterday, my review of the Art Life flowers went live on The Scrap Review. This was a major challenge for me as I tend to avoid using flowers on my scrapbook layouts. I guess I’m not a very flowery person! But even I have to admit that I had fun playing with these wire-stemmed buds. I think my favorite project was this flower headband that Molly is modeling here.
Go check out the review to see the other things I made and leave a comment before midnight tonight (Tuesday, June 15th) to be in for a chance to win some Art Life Flowers!
I’m going to close up with a link to an interview that I did with my fellow Designer Digital’s Creative Team member – Maureen Spell. Mo is a homeschooling mom who blogs about homeschooling, crafts, scrapbooking, photography and everyday life. She asked me a few questions about incorporating kids artwork into my scrapbooking – something near and dear to my hybrid scrapbooking heart 🙂 I’ll leave you with one of the layouts featured in that interview:
I’ll be back tomorrow to share some Jillibean Soup projects! Have a great Tuesday!
Omigosh, Molly looks so grown up here! Wow..gorgeous like her mom. 🙂
