I was looking at my good friend Vivian’s blog today and she had posted her top 10 layouts for 2009. I remember doing this last year and completely forgot about doing it this year. It feels like I’ve completely forgotten about doing a lot of things, why is something I’m still trying to figure out!

Without further ado – here is my top 10 (plus 2) because I combined my paper and digital layouts and hey, it’s my blog and I’ll do what I like. Ha! In no particular order:

Celebrate – my 40th birthday. Eek. How did that happen? I did this for a Scrap Review article and even though the products (GCD Studio) aren’t really my typical style, I really like how it came out.

little: This one came together in a flash – I used one of Katie Pertiet’s template. It was like the template was made for this photo from a few years ago. Weren’t they cute?

Grin: This was in November CK computer tricks column. I love learning new ways to combine my paper and digital scrapping – this was a fun one to do:

Goggle love: This is just me being goofy with a goofy photo of Molly. Playing with some Core’dinations cardstock and an Ek success border punch.

ZZZ: having fun with Lynn Grieveson’s ripped and stitched strips. How many could I fit on there? LOL. I definitely use more products on a digital page but then again, it’s easier to take them off if they don’t work.

@Dunsion: I used the August Kraft Girl kit – in fact three of my favorite layouts were made using it. So sad the club is gone now – Pam really put together some very fun kits.

What they see: this is what happens when you had the camera over to 5 and 6 year olds! They shot some fun stuff!

Missing: Writing the journaling here made me cry. It still makes me cry but just a little bit less. We miss you Uncle Tom.

Your smile: I’m sure this isn’t a good photo technically but I love it. Or maybe it’s just the smile I love. Either way, it made one of my favorite layouts this year.

It’s cold outside: Yet again, this is true. It’s snowing outside my window right now! I liked using these colors on a winter layout – makes it a bit more bearable for me. 🙂

And the bonus layouts – two double pagers. I’ve gotten into doing double pagers lately, especially digital ones for events. The first one is obviously Halloween:

This one was in July CK – Becky sketch. My first and last time in that column!

Let me know if you post your top 10 layouts of the year – I’d love to see!
Happy new year!
