Happy Monday everybody! It’s Monday and even though I am far from home right now, here’s something I prepared earlier 😉 I have a collection of ads in a folder and pulled this one out – it’s from Real Simple, July 2005. I knew hanging on to some stuff was a good idea! I’ve always been drawn to the clean and simple ads, I love the sharpness, but as you can see from my interpretation I added my own little touches.
Here’s my interpretation:
All supplies are from Designer Digitals.
So, what do you think? If you use ads for inspiration, do you stay close to the original? I’d love to hear from you! Thanks so much to everyone who has left comments – it’s so nice to know someone is reading 🙂
I love your interpretation – with the additional bits on the top and bottom … I am a fan of ads doe inspiration. I’m just starting a class based around developing a variety of pages from a single sketch and I’ve chosen an advert for mine. 😉
Looking forward to checking it out Alexa!
Well, of COURSE we’re reading, darling! I adore you and your art, a bit of sunshine for my day, really. Well done for being on the ball and having a blog ready to go…that’s organized! Love the L/O, columns are one of my favourite things. Cheers and happy travels. 🙂
