A couple of years ago I made a tribute scrapbook for my Dad for his 70th birthday. I had great plans to do the same for my Mom for when she turned 70 but her birthday came and went without the album coming together. Thanks to a groupon I forced myself to sit and organize my photos and put the book together, just in time for her 71st birthday – -that’s not too bad, right?
I had some weird problems with Shutterfly and their gallery today so I *hope* this works! I used a set of templates from Katie Pertiet – A Mother’s Love. I really only used a couple of the templates and modified them to fit my needs. I just liked how the templates help to get me started. I also used Just Linens No 18 for the background and the embellishments (lace and flowers) Cold Springs. To add some color I also used Painted Accents, Painted Maps, Painted Text and Painted Wings – all by Katie.
Whew! Now on to other projects!
