As I mentioned last week, we had big doings around here on Mother’s day – Molly’s first communion. I busted out the camera for the first time in a while (I’ve been a slacker!) and now have lots of material for scrapping. For this first layout, I used the new Happy go Lucky line from Pebbles Inc. You can see my review of the line, plus a few more of my projects on the Scrap Review. Leave a comment before midnight EST Thursday for a chance to win a prize pack from Pebbles! This is Molly with her best friend – I’m glad I got these photos early on because later in the day I was too busy to take any!
Thanks to my SIL Debi for taking this photo of us — I rarely get in the photo. I’m often stuck when it comes to photos like this – what do I say for journaling. There isn’t that much to say about the photo other than look at us, aren’t we cute? I decided to take the opportunity to journal about my favorite part of the first communion, a part for which I didn’t have any photos. I love it when a plan comes together 🙂

And one more — the thank you notes that should be winging their way in the mail shortly, whipped up thanks to digital scrapbooking products. Photoshop is the best!
