Welcome to week 3 of my inspiration series! I’m posting inspiration pieces every Thursday in March as my contribution to the Get It Scrapped Get Blogging challenge. This week I’m moving on to music, specifically cd covers, or whatever they call them these days LOL! The beauty of the cd or record cover is that it’s a square and translates very nicely into a scrapbook page. I was looking through some new music and the Glee sound track jumped out at me. Probably mostly because it’s bright yellow, but also because the number filled with photos is a pretty cool design!
And now, here’s my take on last week’s inspiration — that decor piece from West Elm. I thought it would translate well into a photo arrangement. I channeled my inner Kayleigh Wiles here – Kayleigh is a fellow DD CT member and does amazing things with layering and stitching!
Now it’s your turn! Check out your music collection or browse iTunes or Amazon and look at music covers. Pick one and post it on your blog as a reminder to yourself to use it. I’ll be back next Thursday with a brand new source of inspiration and with my take on the Glee cover.
Totally loving your patternless page and loving your very inspirational series! I have never done a page based on a CD cover but that is a great idea!
Thanks Paula, really got me thinking …again.
It was fun. Hopefully soon I'll find time to make the pages.
Oh, you…you're wonderful. Time to start sorting theough through those CD covers. Great idea and fab page…I love the open ended stitching and the rough look of the paper, totally rough and tumble.
Fabulous page! Love it!
