It’s September 1st! And you know what that means – KGK reveal day! This week’s kit was full of Jillibean and Jenni Bowlin goodies. Fun stuff!

I showed this one to my SILs and they commented that it was like the Jillibean paper was made to match the goofy glasses my two are wearing here. They enjoyed hamming it up for the camera, for once 😉
This conversation cracked me up – they’re five and oh so serious about saving the world. I used Katie Pertiet’s Photo Clusters no 14 here. You can find them in the Designer Digitals store.
I struggle with shaped paper, I really do. My usual method of working with it is to cut it up, but I opted to keep it intact here, and I hand-journaled! I took these photos through the window so they aren’t the greatest but I needed to record this occasion. What a relief it was that he got on the bus!

As soon as I opened the kit and saw these chipboard shapes I knew I wanted to make some kind of hanging item — I ended up with a name plate for Tommy’s door. I think the colors and patterns work well for a boy’s room. Plus that JB paper even has the word Tom in it!

A quickie card for my childhood friend in Ireland. She’s 4 days older than me. How did we get to be 40?!! I don’t feel a day over 25 and you are as old as you feel -right? That’s my story anyway!

Don’t forget to check out what all the other KGK gals have done with this month’s kit. And if you haven’t become a fan of Kraft Girl Kits on Facebook (do that HERE), please do so…Pam tells me that there MAY be a giveaway in a few days!
