I’m away from home having fun with the kiddos but the August Scrap This Kit is available today so I wanted to post my layouts. It’s a very fun kit, full of bright happy colors. I loved how well this transparency worked with the sun ray paper. And apologies for the pun. What can I say, I’m cheesy!
I used the paper as inspiration for this layout and found photos of 10 things we love about Summer. I used Katie Pertiet‘s Cut-Ups:Summertime to label the photos. I also had a little fun pleating the ribbon 🙂
The kit includes a cool mini-album that has chipboard, acrylic and felt pages. I used the mini-album pages on my layouts — this one uses one of the acrylic pages. I also cut up a Basic Grey bling flower and used it as water drops. The cluster frames here are by Katie Pertiet, as usual!
Finally, a layout about what else, baseball. We’re kind of obsessed here lately. I used a few more mini-album pages here and I also used one of Pattie Knox’s text bytes (#21) for my journaling and stitched around the outline, and one of Katie’s cluster frames.
