Your Life, Captured Through The Lens

Ever wanted to learn how to use your camera? I mean really USE it, learn how to compose interesting photographs and finally know what all those buttons and knobs are on your camera? You do? Me too! The awesomely talented Katrina Kennedy is going to be teaching a photography class at Get It Scrapped and it will cover all of those topics.


You can learn more about the specifics at the class details page. Katrina is the admin for the Designer Digitals photo-a-day flickr group and she takes the most amazing photos. You can see lots of examples of her work in her Designer Digitals gallery.

If you are interested in getting to know Katrina a little bit, she is hosting a chat tomorrow night (that’s this Thursday, June 4th) at Get It Scrapped at 9pm EST on “what inspires you?” You’ll need to sign up for the chat room ahead of time but it’s free to all.

    are you kidding? Katrina is just one of the most awesome photographers!!!! I love everything she does (and you should see her clever use of Kraft Paper on her pages ;))

    At this time, I only own a p&s camera. Fortunately it has the capabilities to use AV, TV, P and Manual—-So I am practicing for te day when I can purchase better equipment. Katrina's photos are outstanding and she will be a fabulous teacher.

    I'd love a chance to win! I mostly use P mode on my camera so I'd love to learn how to use the other settings.

    I got my SLR camera for my 50th B-day, a lifelong desire — I turn 55 this year and STILL haven't taken any formal classes — I can think of no better mentor for photography than Katrina! What an awesome prize!
