April first!

April first, and no fools – it’s reveal time at Kraft Girl kits. This month’s kit was full of fun, bright colors – these layouts practically scrapped themselves! Who doesn’t love this Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday line? Everything looks so great with the kraft. It looks some some kits have pink Heidi Swapp stickers but I like the black ones that I used below. You might recognize the photos – there’s from when Celeste tagged me. This is a rather gratuitous layout – I just wanted to use that Spinner and play with paper! 🙂

I took these photos last summer and have been trying to figure out how to scrap them. I’m so glad I held on to them until now! I used gesso on the chipboard – it turned out so much better than when I usually paint chipboard white. The digital frames here are Katie Pertiet’s stacked classic frames.


Ah Spring, and dining al fresco – a bit chilly but after the winter we’ve had, we’ll take it! More machine sewing – I think I’m overcoming my phobia! It’s really not as difficult as I thought it was.

And finally, a layout about our second day at Storyland. Good times 🙂 These papers go so well with Molly’s clothes!
I could have kept going but I stopped at 4 layouts. I made a couple of cards too using the kit but they are for my next article at The Scrap Review so you’ll have to wait a little while to see them!
