I have a long list of things that need to be done, forms that need to be filled out (kindergarten -eek!), projects that need to be finished but I’m easily distracted and like it when I can fit in a scrapbook layout or two to make me feel like I’ve really accomplished something. Of course I have actually been doing things, but not have anything concrete to show for it leaves me feeling, well…incomplete.

And so I present two layouts that I did yesterday – one paper (hybrid) and one digital. The hybrid layout is this week’s tutorial and challenge for my hybrid corner at Get It Scrapped. I had completely different plans for this and ended up going with word-art. I really like how it looks. Check it out – I stitched on a layout! I used my machine a few times last week for various assignments and left my machine accessible. I think I’m getting better at it, or at least less intimidated.

The digi one was super fast. I saw this new “little” template by Katie and I just had to use it. Everything is from designerdigitals, as always. Added some papers from Mindy Teresawa’s Bunny Hop kit, used MaryAnn Wise’s magnetic words for the journaling and I was done. Picking out the photo took the longest! I had scrapped this photo for a card for my parents but had never used it on a layout. I love it 🙂 Doesn’t T look like trouble? He is.

Tomorrow I can post my layouts for the April kraft girl kit. The colors this month are fabulous – so bright and cheery!
