Yaay! A new month, a new start but sadly, a new foot of snow on the ground here. Hopefully March will live up to it’s reputation and come in like a lion and go out like a lamb. I could do with some lambs around here 🙂
First up – March kraft girl kit layouts. This was such a fun kit – full of bright colors and goodies from October Afternoon, Scenic Route and American Crafts.
The Scenic Route rubons went on so smoothly – the inspired this first layout about what Tommy and I do every day while waiting for Molly’s bus.
This October Afternoon paper made me think of the American Girl star symbol. Who am I kidding, I just wanted any excuse to scrap my new favorite place – the AG store. I think I like it there even more than Molly. The decor is so pretty! Pam (from Kraft Girl kits) has a sketch for this month and that inspired this design.
How much fun is this paper? I love it! And now I’ve finally scrapped my super boy story from Halloween. I added my journaling to the clouds that I cut from the American Crafts paper.
Finally, this week’s How Much Is Too Much inspired me to use the mini-album that came in the kit. Debbi challenged us to use the whole kit and caboodle – find (or put together your own) a kit and create a layout using as many items from that kit as you can fit on your page! I added lots of the goodies from the kit in here. It’s all about the things that I now need but I never knew that I wanted – think like Tivo, GPS 🙂
Amazing stuff, girl! Look at you…makin’ a mini-album…NICE!
You rocked that kit!!! Your creations are so much fun!
