Well, the holiday baking and decorating has started. Last years gingerbread house was such a big success that we went for a repeat performance this year. Sadly, it turns out that I have poor construction skills because this is what happened just after the kids finished decorating.
Yes, that is the roof sliding off. My attempts to repair it ended up with the other side sliding off. Now we are left with a gingerbread shack. Let’s hope our next baking/decorating experiment works out a little better. We’re going to be making Reindeer cookies (as seen in Vivian Masket’s adorable layout in December CK) and cake cookies that Marci swears as yummy and easy. Time will tell!
