And I find myself leaving the country for the third time this year, each time I’ve got to a different country. This time I’m off to Canada, to Canada’s Scrapbooking Crop for Kids. I’m excited about this for so many reasons.

1. My good friend Sarah has worked her butt off for almost 2 years planning this event and now it’s about to happen! This girl deserves a medal for all the blood, sweat and tears she put into it and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of it all.

2. I get to meet Marci! And Vivian (again), and Sarah. Women I chat with every single day. People I have more in common with than a lot of my friends IRL. Finally I get to meet them, in real life. To tell the truth I’m a bit nervous. Wish me luck!

3. I get a little break. I know by Sunday I’ll be pining for the family but right now a little me time is looking really good.

4. It’s a weekend of scrapbooking!! ’nuff said.
