It’s been a million years since I updated. Life’s been crazy between trips, back to school and new/old house stuff but I’m determined to live a scrappy life and this is going to be my way of reminding myself about that!

This week’s how much is too much challenge is from Caroline who challenged us to use 30 scraps on a layout. I’ve been thinking about inventive ways to do this but ended up with my trusty square punch. My layout is also for the journaling challenge – “the song remembers when” – pick a song and journal about the memories it brings to mind. I had a completely different song in mind when I started (hey jealousy by the Gin Blossoms) but I couldn’t find the photo I wanted so I came across some wedding photos and viola, a new layout was born. Who doesn’t love Beautiful Day by U2? Makes me happy every time I hear it. I’ll keep digging for the other photo though – 1994 was a year that deserves to be scrapped. 🙂

30 scraps – lots of SR, BG, AC, KI, IP, some Hambly, 7Gypsies, MME, Fancy Pants, Karen Foster, Reminisce, Cosmo Cricketm Sweetwater, Autumn Leaves and 1 or 2 unknown. It was a fun way to use up a lot of scraps AND a lot of not-so-good photos!
