I love the idea of being organized. I get all excited about the Container Store and dream about having the neatest, most organized house on the planet but it doesn’t work out that way. I’ve learned a few things in the past year about being tidy- cutting down on clutter, having a place for everything etc but just living (and having two small children) can prevent the dream from being the reality. I’ve come to realize that my scrap space is going to be messy when I’m working and I just have to tidy up later. Leaving it messy works against me though because I usually remember that I have something and get frustrated when I can’t find it.
