Day 3. Begin doing. There are so many things that prevent me from doing what I want; the constant interruptions that are a daily part of life when living with a toddler and a preschooler, the unknown – sometimes change is just plain scary, fear of failure – if I don’t try then I’ll never know that I’m not good at something, and let’s not forget laziness! This time I’m jumping right in, water bottle in hand, and getting to work. I’m making lists, I’m checking things off. First accomplishment of the year – scheduling LASIK. I’ve been wanting to do this since I read about it over 20 years ago and now I’m finally getting my wish. I’m excited and extremely nervous but that’s good. 2007 – a year for seeing clearly in every way.
