It’s the end of the school year and like many classes, my ds’ preschool class decided to do a scrapbook for both teachers at the end of the year. I suggested that we do a mini album and I made most of it digitally because we needed to make two of them (halving the work!). I used 4×6 photos as the base for the mini-album – quick and easy to print. I used 4×6 pieces of chipboard for the covers and added patterned paper (this one is from SEI) to decorate.
The instructions for this are the subject of this week’s hybrid tutorial/challenge over at Get It Scrapped. I’ve been hankering for a Bind It All for years now but really I can’t justify the expense. I had these minis bound at Staples for a little over $1 each. Can’t beat that price!
The left pages were decorated by the kids in the class – I scanned their art work for easy duplication and the right side hold a photo of each adorable preschooler. I know I’m biased but isn’t he handsome? 🙂
This was a very fun, easy project and I love the end result. I know that the teachers will too and the great thing is that these mini albums won’t take up a lot of space.
so so so cute. i love it 🙂
Gorgeous book, Paula! (Well, the cover and two pages you showed certainly were!) Lovely gift!
Very cute and fun idea! The teachers are going to love them!
