Can you believe I’m still working through 2011? I keep jumping back and forth between current photos and older ones. The only problem with doing the older ones is that I forget details. Yes, I really should take more notes! It is nice to re-live the memories after so much time has gone by 🙂 I don’t think I would have thought about this trip if I hadn’t taken photos – no photos, no memories! Shocking, I know.
No, Paula, seriously, taking photos is SUCH a great way to hold travel memories that otherwise get lost! I take copious notes and I still often find myself using the photos as starting points to figure out which stories I want to tell. This is a beautiful L/O; I couldn’t pick my favorite photo if I tried but the boat and flower are both calendar-worthy.
