Happy Monday everyone! It’s inspiration challenge day and this week I’m using another ad ripped from a magazine. It’s multi-photo, which is always useful in scrapbooking and it has some interesting details.
Even though it has no connection what so ever to last week’s ad, I decided to use this as the basis of the 2nd page on a two page spread (last week’s page is the first one). I used similar elements so they would look like they went together.
Do you make many two pagers? I don’t but I think taking the approach of not making them one giant canvas takes a lot of the pressure off – what do you think?
In other news, it’s October 1st which means it’s new gallery day at Write.Click.Scrapbook. This month’s theme is Pinterest made me do it! If you are anything like me, you spend a lot of time browing Pinterest – this was a good reason to actually try something I found 🙂 I created a layout inspired by this pin. I’m really intrigued by collages, always have been. I created my own collage or memorabilia from our trip to NYC a few years ago. I knew there was a reason to hold on to all those ticket stubs!
Go check out the gallery to see what the rest of the W.C.S. team created.
Ooh, fantastic, Paula! I am loving these big time. The font is kickin’. Also, NYC…that’s a great way to group ephemera.
Thanks Natalie!
Another lovely page – I so often think yours are better than the originals and this is no exception!
You are too kind Alexa! Thanks so much!
