Back in the day when I started scrapbooking, Simple Scrapbooks was my favorite magazine. I’m still mourning its demise. I’m a simple scrapbooker, I mix it up a bit but simple is where it’s at for me. Wendy Smedley was one of the editors from Simple and I was thrilled to contribute to her latest book, Start Scrapbooking, aimed at beginners or anyone looking for simple ideas.
Here’s a little bit about the book:
Forget feeling overwhelmed by stacks of photos. It’s time to get down to basics and Start Scrapbooking!
Packed with everything you need to know to dive into the craft, Start Scrapbooking redefines stereotypes, showing you can have fun and scrap in simple ways. Along with more than 100 fresh layout ideas, you’ll find all the essentials for getting started and staying on track. Determine your goals and then stock up on the tools of the trade. Set up your space and keep it organized. Find your starting point, then design layouts following basic principles. Plus, find a gallery of theme ideas for scrapping every occasion.
I’m really looking forward to reading this book – you should get it too!
Oh, Paula, that is SO AWESOME!!!! We're so proud of you and excited by your talents.
Switching gears, I, too, am mourning Simple Scrapbooks. What WERE they thinking, getting rid of it? Grrrr….
Well, at least I still have you and Cathy Zielske to nourish my inner scrapbooker. 🙂
Woa! Big congrats Paula on being in the book! That's GREAT!
