Greetings from beautiful Ireland. Even thought I’m away from home, I planned ahead 🙂
It’s the first of the month, and you know what that means! Reveal time at Kraft Girl Kits! This month’s kit was very elegant with so many pretty elements with goodies from Basic Grey, Crate Paper, Scenic Route and Maya Road. My favorite has to be the butterfly – sooooooo pretty! Those stick pins were a pretty close second though!I’ve been meaning to do a layout about himself and myself 🙂 but we hardly ever get photos of us together. I think I collected them last year (ALL of them), with just the two of us, not counting our wedding day. The grand total, since we met, came to 5. Shocking – right? So I cherish any new photos of us. This one isn’t really great so I converted it to black and white. I don’t usually do B&W but I like it here – I also used Katie Pertiet’s Letter Box photo masks on the photo too – that gives it the distressed edge and the post mark.
I’m still on my hybrid kick – this time I used Katie’s Photoclusters no 17 to showcase photos from my trip to Canada for CSCFK back in October of 2007 (gasp, has it been that long?). I’m thrilled to have finally scrapped them. Oh I used Pattie Knox’s Text Byte no 1 to put my journaling in a semi circle. Oh and there’s that punch again 😮And finally, I used a photo that I found while making that birthday book for my dad (which he loved by the way!). Check out my expression – ever and always Daddy’s girl 🙂 I made my butterflies using the Spellbinder’s butterfly die – I’m becomming addicted to die cutting!
These are all wonderful! That baby pic of you is a hoot! So cute!
oh i love each one! love how you used the punches on the first one
