I fell off the blogging wagon two weeks ago because of all the things happening in my life (‘rents visiting, surgery etc) but things have calmed down now somewhat so I’m ready to start up again. Where was I? Oh yes, I can now see without aid – the LASIK procedure was a success! I’m still bearing the scars in form of two burst blood vessels in my eyes but it was definitely worth it.
Lots of other good things have happened. I got to spend some time with my parents, they played with the kids, Matt and I got to go out one night (yippie!). Their visit really cut into my scrapping time but I did get a few layouts finished – one that I did for the last Simple Scrapbooks call and I am so happy to report that they want to publish it! I was also ecstatic to receive an email from Katie Pertiet asking me to join her Creative Team at Designer Digitals! This was one of my ‘unwritten’ goals for this year and I can’t believe that it actually happened. I love the site and the products. The rest of the team have been so wonderful welcoming me – it really is a dream come true! This was the first layout I did as a member of the DD CT:
Aren’t they the cutest? My niece and nephew – their mommies are both scrapbookers so there will be multiple copies of this picture scrapped!
